A triathlon may seem daunting at first, but take into consideration that it can be broken down into multi-sport training — running, cycling, and swimming. Whether you are good at one of these or none of these, you can still put your best foot forward and be a triathlete. Every great action starts with a decision. Once you make the commitment and set the goal to finish a Chicago Triathlon, the rest comes easy!

After you make that initial commitment or promise to yourself, it is time to fully dive into the preparation. Being relentless with your training goals and sessions can help instill confidence and a “can-do” mindset.
